I am captivated by the beauty of the natural world and by every living creature we inhabit it with.

When painting an animal, I feel a deep connection and longing to understand its personality and soul.

I have always been passionate about creating art and love to use a range of mediums, but prefer to paint mainly with oils due to their rich and luminous colour and how beautifully they blend.

I have been drawing from a very young age, but only in the last few years have I really invested myself in painting wildlife and have just completed my third exhibition, with my fourth lined up.

It all began when my homeschooled children became engrossed in learning everything they possibly could about African animals and conservation projects that help protect endangered species.

When I started painting wildlife, it gave me and my children such a drive to help in anyway we can by donating proceeds of my work to relevant conservation projects.
